PAPER-FIRST MATH PRACTICE
Longhand creates focused practice to print, complete in pencil, and bring back for thoughtful feedback. The next paper starts with what the last one showed.
Created by a 16-year veteran teacher with credentials in math, industrial arts, computer science, and business finance.

A USEFUL BALANCE
A few sessions with worked examples, warm-ups, and room to write.
The learner slows down, shows each step, and can erase without penalty.
The paper comes back to Longhand so uncertain readings can be checked.
Accepted evidence and the pace you choose shape a fresh edition.
PRIVATE BY PRACTICE
Families may use a nickname, and Longhand worksheets leave the learner's name off the page. We keep the information that helps choose the next practice and explain where it goes.
Read the exact privacy detailsPhotos are re-encoded without location, EXIF, or camera metadata. Account names and email addresses are not included in model requests.
A read page is removed once its durable learning record no longer needs the image. Paused, failed, or uncertain pages expire within 72 hours.
Model review uses response storage off and no voluntary training-data sharing. Provider abuse and safety retention can still apply, so Longhand publishes those limits and keeps review paused until its required controls are ready.
BUILT BY A TEACHER WHO SEES THE GAP
I’m a 16-year veteran teacher with credentials in math, industrial arts, computer science, and business finance. I’m building Longhand Math because I see a gap between the work students do in books and the support they can get online.
Longhand brings those pieces together: thoughtful practice on paper, purposeful help online, and room for parents, teachers, and tutors to stay involved. This is a teacher-led project. My priority is useful support for learning, rather than pushing families toward another upgrade.
